Ahhh... just when I thought I could catch my breath, I get a call that throws me another curve ball. A new owner has bought the art store in Key Largo where I have my ceramic work for sale. I have to move out, because he is changing the whole place. Anyway, now I'll have to spend half a day moving my work and display case...
Even worse... I'll have to start marketing myself again to find a new location to sell. I hate promoting myself, and would much prefer hiding out in my shop making stuff. On the bright side, I already have two more places in mind. I just have to make the time, and get up the courage to go there with samples... Wish me luck! Thanks! -Diane http://demartstudio.com
Hey Everyone!
Sorry I've been so out of touch recently. I have been working like crazy. There are a bunch of international tile shows in April and May... and everyone wants new tiles to display. I also got pretty sick with a kidney infection. I don't recommend one of those!
I still need to get a photo of the large mosaic that I finished. It is now installed in a concrete patio floor and looks beautiful. I'll post a photo soon.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

Thanks to everyone, you made my mosiac turtle shell color decision so much easier! I completed and delivered the turtle mosaic this morning. My client was thrilled!! I cleaned up the edges so it would fit perfectly into their patio floor, where it is being placed next week. I'll post a photo of it set and grouted when that happens!! Thanks again!
Just when I thought I was catching up with work... I got an e-mail from a tile company saying they were sending two new mold making projects. Guess I shouldn't complain, having work is always good. I just want to go kayaking once this week!!!

I finally finished my 6 square foot mosaic that a guy in Key Largo custom ordered. But, I have one last decision to make. Which turtle shell do you like better? The dark or the light mosaic shell? It will be installed tomorrow afternoon, so I have to make up my mind soon! Thanks for any imput!! -Diane
